The ancient tea trees in Laos mostly grow in the deep mountains and old forests where few people venture. According to research, about a thousand years ago, the ancestors of the Chinese nation planted tea trees along the "Tea Horse Road" in the humid Khammuong Plateau of Laos, which is close to Yunnan. Relying on their tenacious vitality and favorable ecological environment, the ancient tea trees have survived for a thousand years through the vicissitudes of time in the deep primeval forests of Laos. Due to the low germination rate, it is difficult to harvest and the yield is relatively small. Ancient trees have well-developed root systems that are deeply rooted, enabling them to better absorb soil nutrients and minerals. Therefore, the tea produced is rich in internal quality, more fragrant and has a mellow taste.
