【 Precautions for Tent Use 】

 

When setting up a tent, choosing the right campsite is very important. Try not to have too many sharp objects on the ground, such as stones, grass roots, branches and the like. If there are any, they must be cleared away. Even broken branches can easily Pierce the bottom of the tent.

 

2. To better protect the tent, you can first lay a piece of ground cloth under it.

After each trip, clean the inner and outer tents, tent poles and ground nails thoroughly. The main objects to be cleaned are snow, rain, dust, mud, grass and small insects.
2. Tents should not be washed in a washing machine. They can be washed by rinsing with water or rubbing by hand. Use a non-alkaline cleaning agent. After washing, place them in a well-ventilated area to dry in the shade. Disassemble and store them in a storage bag in a dry and cool place. Tents should not be folded regularly. If folded too regularly and neatly, the creases will harden and crack.
3. When using a tent, be careful not to enter the inner tent with shoes on, as the soil, stones and other substances attached to the soles of the shoes can easily scratch the inner tent, thus losing its waterproof significance.
4. Avoid cooking, smoking, high temperatures and open flames inside the tent. The hazards of the tent are very great. If the external weather is bad and cooking must be done inside the tent, place aluminum film or other heat insulation materials under the stove and open all the doors and Windows of the tent.
5. When lighting in the tent at night, try to avoid using unprotected open flame items such as candles as lighting props. Instead, use headlamps, flashlights and special gas lamps for tents.
6. Before going to bed, please place your rock climbing equipment, ropes and other professional gear in the corner of the tent or in the front hall between the inner and outer tents to prevent them from touching these sharp objects and injuring the tent when you are asleep at night.
