Maintenance methods for stainless steel

For stainless steel surfaces with dust and easily removable dirt, they can be washed with soap, weak detergent or warm water. For the trademarks and films on the surface of stainless steel, wash them with warm water and weak detergent. For the adhesive components, wipe them with alcohol or organic solvents (ether, benzene). For grease, oil or lubricating oil contamination on the surface of stainless steel, wipe it clean with a soft cloth. Later, clean it with neutral detergent, ammonia solution or special detergent.

If bleach or various acids adhere to the surface of stainless steel, immediately rinse with water, then soak in an ammonia solution or a neutral sodium bicarbonate solution, and finally wash with a neutral detergent or warm water.

Rainbow patterns on the surface of stainless steel are caused by excessive use of detergent or oil. They can be washed off with warm water and neutral detergent when cleaning. Rust caused by dirt on the surface of stainless steel can be washed with 10% nitric acid or abrasive detergent, or with special cleaning chemicals. As long as we use the correct maintenance methods, we can extend the service life of stainless steel and keep it clean, bright and elegant.
