【 Regarding the Implementation of Jincheng Electronic Toggle Switches  

Usually, when the Jincheng electronic toggle switch leaves the factory, the position of the pin is [OFF].
Please maintain this state until the [Substrate mounting]→[soldering]→[flux cleaning]→[drying] treatment is completed. The heat generated during welding may cause deformation of the spring pieces and the like.

1. Through the implementation of automatic equipment  
The guide slot brake of the automatic insertion machine should use the body braking method. The semiconductor braking method may cause terminal deformation and become the cause of incorrect substrate insertion. If it is necessary to use the half-wire braking method, please make sure to confirm the actual machine status before using it. 
It is recommended to use products with t=1.2-1.6mm for the printing substrate  
The substrate holes for automatic insertion generally need to be above 0.9mm.

2. Implementation of manual insertion or use of IC sockets  
It is recommended to use the IC insertion dedicated tool sold on the market for the installation time.  
The size and pitch of the terminals are the same as those of the ics, so substrate IC sockets can be used. (Except for surface mount type  
When inserting into the installation holes opened according to the pre-determined dimensions, or when inserting into the above-mentioned IC sockets, after confirming that each row of terminals is in a state where they can completely and simultaneously enter the installation holes (or socket holes), apply pressure along the vertical direction of the printed substrate to ensure that the terminals are fully inserted.  
When it needs to be removed, do not insert a screwdriver or the like between the toggle switch and the substrate surface to stir. Instead, use the IC insertion/removal dedicated tools available on the market.

When welding the toggle switch, the following conditions should be followed for the operation  
1Common precautions during welding

The sliding type collider should be exactly in the ON or OFF position.  
●Before welding, please make sure that the switch does not float off the substrate. 
●Multilayer laminated substrates and the like need to undergo confirmation tests. Thermal deformation may occur depending on the approach and other factors. 

2. In the case of automatic welding tanks (flow welding tanks)

● Welding temperature: Below 260℃, welding time: within 5 seconds (single-sided substrate t=1.6mm)  
●The foaming flux should not exceed the top of the printed substrate where the switch is installed. If flux gets onto the substrate, it can easily enter the interior of the switch, causing poor conduction and other issues. 

3. In the case of reflux furnaces (surface mounting)

● Reflow soldering should be carried out under the following conditions (test point: above the switch) :  

Depending on the type of reflux tank used, it is possible that the set conditions and the temperature around the switch are different. Therefore, the temperature overview should be obtained in advance, and the temperature applied to the switch body and the welding condition should be confirmed before use.  

4. In cases of manual welding (except for surface-mounted types)

● Welding temperature: Below 350℃; Welding time: Within 3 seconds (single-sided substrate t=1.6mm)  
●When re-welding is required due to modifications or other reasons, the number of welds should be no more than two times. At this point, there should be an interval of more than five minutes between the first and second times.  

5. Regarding the use of flux  
The type of flux, the amount applied and the application method can all cause flux to enter the interior of the switch, thereby deteriorating the switch. Therefore, please evaluate the flux in advance. 

 Welding and cleaning process
1Hand welding: The temperature should be controlled at 200℃, and the welding time is approximately 10 seconds
2Wave welding: The temperature is controlled at 130℃, and the welding time is approximately 2 seconds
