The Vein Finder is a high-power red LED flashlight that can be used to help anyone locate veins beneath the skin. Its slender and lightweight design makes it very easy to carry and ideal for any situation. You might be surprised when you can visualize veins that are invisible to the human eye. A light frequency of -625 to 700 nm is naturally absorbed by the blood and will produce the shadow of dark veins.
How to use
Step 1: Minimize the use of lights. Choosing a dark room will have a better display effect. Press the button at the bottom of the device to turn on the infrared LED light.
Step 2: Gently press the device onto the skin with your hand and slowly move it from one side to the other. Veins will be displayed as shadows or dark lines and will appear on the periphery of the device, glowing red. Note: The device may come into contact with the skin while searching for veins. Taking light out of the skin won't reveal anything!
Step 3: Once the vein (dark shadow/line) is located, reposition the infrared lamp around the area to achieve a clear vein vision. If the veins are more superficial to the surface, the light source may be moved further because it may be too bright and cover the veins. Follow the path of the veins to give you a complete visual view of size and direction. Note: Find a vein that follows a straight path.
