Structure and performance: 1. Azimuth measurement mechanism: Composed of a compass, a sight gate and a crosshair, etc. The outer circle of the azimuth division is a 360° division system, with a minimum division value of 2°. The inner circle is a 60-00 density division system, with the minimum division value ranging from 0 to 20 densities. The conversion between density and degree is shown in the table. Measurement accuracy: ±0-10 degrees. The prices of the goods on sale in our store are all tax-exclusive. If you need an invoice, please contact our customer service! ±1°2. Distance estimator: Composed of a sight and a crosshair, etc. The Angle between the two tips of the crosshair and the center edge of the sight is 1 to 100 degrees of density. The distance between the two tips is 12.34 millimeters, and the distance between the sight and the crosshair is 123.4 millimeters, thus forming a 10:1 proportional distance estimator. The measurement accuracy is 5%. 3. Pitch Angle measurement mechanism: composed of pitch gauge, pitch pendulum, head-up mirror, etc., its measurement range is ±90°. Measurement accuracy: ±2.5°. 4. Coordinate ladder ruler: Composed of a long ruler on one side and two short rulers on both sides that are perpendicular to each other, with a length of 120 millimeters. Measurement accuracy: ±0.5 mm. Operation: 1. Measuring azimuth: Unfold the compass, rotate the azimuth frame so that the scale lines on the azimuth glass are aligned with the direction indicator. Place the sight glass at an Angle (45°) and aim one eye at the target through the crosshair. From the reflection of the sight glass, you can see the azimuth division on the reverse sign of the N pole of the magnetic needle, and then read the azimuth Angle of the target. Then, rotate the azimuth frame with your right hand to align the scale lines on the azimuth glass with the N pole of the magnetic needle. At this point, the Angle between the direction indicator and the orientation glass scale line is the target azimuth Angle (calculated in a clockwise direction). Turn on the compass, mark the map (the map does not need to be marked when measuring distance), insert a needle at the reference point on the map, rotate the compass so that the side ruler is tangent to the target point, and then the azimuth Angle from the reference point to the target point can be read. 2. Map calibration: Unfold the compass, rotate the azimuth box to align the scale lines on the azimuth box with the direction indicators (note the correction of the magnetic declination Angle), place the compass flat on the map, with the crosshair end facing the North Pole of the map, so that the length of the coordinate scale is tangent to the magnetic meridian of the map. Rotate the map to align the N pole of the magnetic needle with the scale lines on the azimuth glass. At this point, the map has been calibrated. 3. To find the marching direction towards the concealed target: Unfold the compass on the map so that the ruler passes over your foothold on the map and the marching target. At this point, the direction indicator indicates the direction to be marched. Rotate the azimuth box to align the (S, N) directions on the azimuth glass with those on the map. Then record the azimuth reading indicated by the azimuth indicator. Facing the azimuth indicator, pick up the compass and rotate your body to align the N pole of the magnetic needle with the scale lines on the azimuth glass. At this point, align it forward through the sight gate. All objects on this alignment line (such as forests, houses, etc.) can serve as auxiliary targets for the marching direction. Once the auxiliary targets are recognized, the marching direction can be advanced. Close the compass and put it in the bag, but do not rotate the direction frame. After reaching the auxiliary target, you can find a new auxiliary target and continue moving forward until you reach the destination. Along the way, you should frequently check the direction reading. 4. Given the distance between the targets, estimate the distance from the target to the standing point: ① Aim at the target through the sight and the left and right tips of the crosshair. Based on the multiple of the distance between the targets to the width between the left and right tips of the crosshair, estimate the distance to the target using a 10:1 ratio formula. The distance between the target and the standing point (in meters) = the width of the target interval (in meters) × 10/ the multiple of the width of the two tips of the crosshair by the target interval. Example: There is a road parallel to our position ahead. Find the distance between the road and the position. There are electric poles along the road, with a distance of 50 meters between them. Using a distance estimator, it was measured that there are five electric poles at the left and right ends, that is, the distance between each pair of poles accounts for one quarter of the distance between the left and right ends. According to the proportion formula, the distance between the road and the position is calculated as follows: 50x10x4=2000. The prices of the goods on sale in our store are all tax-exclusive. If you need an invoice, please contact our customer service! For meter ②, use the auxiliary point to determine the distance to the target. Aim at the target with the sight, rotate the azimuth frame to align the scale line with the N pole of the magnetic needle, and record the azimuth reading indicated by the direction indicator. Then, turn one Angle to the left or right (that is, the reading differs from the original position by 15-00) to find an auxiliary point. Use the step measurement method or other methods to measure the distance from the auxiliary point to the standing point. At the auxiliary point, use the compass to align with the original target through the sight. Rotate the azimuth box again to align the scale line with the N pole of the magnetic needle, and record the reading indicated by the direction indicator. The target distance can be obtained by referring to Appendix 2 based on the difference between the readings of the direction angles before and after and the distance from the standing point to the auxiliary point. If the difference between the above two directional Angle readings is 7 to 50 (i.e., at 45°), then the target distance is equal to the distance from the standing point to the auxiliary point. 5. Measure the pitch Angle: Place the side facing down, aim at the target with the sight sight, and reflect the pitch Angle reading through the head-up mirror. Or place the plane facing up on a certain plane and measure the Angle at which the plane is inclined. 6. Measuring height: Use maps and altimeters to measure height. Find the horizontal distance from the standing point to the target on the map, then measure the pitch with a compass, and look up the height through an altimeter. It can also be calculated using trigonometric functions. Example: Find the height from the bottom to the top of a mountain. The horizontal distance between the summit and the standing point was found to be 100 meters on the map. The elevation Angle of the summit was measured to be 40° with a compass. Then, by referring to the altimeter and comparing 40° at 100 meters, the height could be obtained as 83.91 meters. 7. Measure the distance between any two points on a map: For maps of different scales, the calculation formula for the relationship between the edge length of the square grid and the actual distance is 1:25,000. Map: distance = (measured millimeters /4) X100 (meters) 1:50,000. Map: Distance = (measured millimeters /2). The prices of the goods sold in our store are all tax-exclusive. Measurement of magnetic declination: ① The positions of the Earth's north and south magnetic poles are not exactly in the true north-south direction of the earth. Therefore, the north-south direction pointed by the magnetic needle has a deviation Angle from the true north-south direction. This deviation Angle is called the magnetic declination Angle, and its value varies from place to place. When precise measurement is not required, the direction indicated by the magnetic needle can be regarded as the true north. When precise measurement is needed, first check the local magnetic declination book, and then calculate the true north-south direction based on the direction indicated by the compass. When using a compass in Changsha, according to Appendix 4, the magnetic decepitation Angle of Changsha is 2°41' (W). This means that the north pointed by the magnetic needle in Changsha is 2°41' west of the true north. ② The method for calculating the magnetic declination Angle anywhere. On a clear night, unfold the compass and rotate the orientation frame so that the (N) character on the orientation glass is directly aligned with the direction indicator. Face the North Star with a sight, a crosshair, a horizon mirror and a luminous marker. Keep the direction of the compass unchanged and place it flat. At this time, the reading pointed to by the North Pole of the magnetic needle is the magnetic declination of the location. Maintenance and care: 1. When using and placing the compass, do not approach ferromagnetic objects, high-voltage wires, and electromagnetic devices, etc., to avoid errors and reduce the sensitivity of the compass. When not in use, it should be placed in a well-ventilated and dry area to prevent mold. 3. Do not twist or bend the head-up mirror and the reverse sign seat to avoid affecting their usage accuracy. 4. When any surface is contaminated, you can gently wipe it with a white flannel cloth to keep it smooth and clean.
