All kinds of objects used to decorate hair and the head are called hair accessories. There are many types of hair accessories, but there is no complete classification of hair accessories in society at present
The following is a personal summary of the classification that I think is relatively reasonable
Hair ties include hair strings, hair bands, rubber bands, hair bundles, etc.
The hair comb is also called the insert comb. Including crowns and other similar headwear with cards and teeth, etc.
Hairpins are also called hair forks, hair plugs or hair rods. Those with one or two needles are mostly used for winding heads.
Hairpins are also known as headbands or hair bands. A large semi-circular clip with both sides clamped behind the ears, made of materials such as fabric or plastic, is a horizontal clip that holds the hair into a bundle.
Pointed-nose clips include duckbill clips, crane clips, crocodile clips, tiger clips, shark clips, etc. They are clips that are inserted into one end of the hair and become thinner and thinner, coming in various sizes
The BB clip is also known as the water drop clip or frog clip. Usually, the small clips for makeup are placed on both sides or the front. The thin steel rings that are closely attached to the hair are placed inside the hair, and the surface is made of rhinocones or other makeup items. There is also a pair of larger hair claws for holding the hair. The claw clips are further divided into side claws and full claws (claw clips are made of alloy and acrylic materials. Large claw clips are suitable for updo.) The small claw clip can be used as a top clip, that is, to hold a small part of the hair when letting it down.
Hairband: A large semi-circular ring with both sides clamped behind the ears. It is made of materials such as fabric or plastic and is also known as a head ring or hairpin

Hairpins are classified by material into: alloy baked paint (powder) type, alloy rhinestone type, and acrylic type
2. According to the appearance shape, they can be classified as: leaf type, wave type, butterfly type, bow type, dragonfly type, oval type, rhombus type, straight type, straight type with flowers in the middle, straight type with flowers on the side, and various flower shapes. Hollowed-out top clips, hollowed-out pendant top clips, mesh and other different shapes.
3. Classified by usage:
A: Hair clips are divided into: 3-6 cm top clips (suitable for holding part of the hair and covering part of the hair.) And 7-10 cm hair clips (for holding all the hair and can also be used for updo.)
B: The vertical clip, also known as the banana clip (it is arc-shaped and holds the hair upright. It is generally made of alloy and acrylic materials.)"
C: Claw clamps are further divided into side claws and full claws. (Claw clamps are made of alloy and acrylic materials. Large claw clamps are suitable for updo hair.) The small claw clip can be used as a top, that is, when letting your hair down, hold a small part of it.
D: Pointed nose clips (commonly used for updo in summer. Most pointed nose clips are made of alloy, while some are made of acrylic.)
Hair pins are further classified into insert combs, coil combs and hair forks. The hair pin can be used as an embellishment when uptying hair or as a top clip. That is, a small rubber band is used to tie half of the hair, and the hair pin is inserted into the rubber band. Most of them are made of alloy materials. The hair pin is used for uptying hair in summer and is mostly made of acrylic material. The hair fork is often used for uptying hair in summer and is mostly made of alloy materials or acrylic. Compared with the comb, the hairpin has single or double prongs, while the comb usually has seven teeth.
F: Hairbands (often used to press down some loose hair or loose hair from the front of the forehead to the back, usually made of alloy or acrylic materials.)
G: Double clamps (further divided into: single clamps and double clamps, among which there are: side clamps, straight clamps, frog clamps, duckbill clamps, BB clamps.)
H: Children's hair accessories: They can be divided into children's ropes and children's clips. Children's clips can also be classified as clips as mentioned above.
I: Ponytails can be further classified into head flower ponytails, rubber band ponytails, alloy rubber band ponytails (five-section buckle), and alloy ponytail clips. A ponytail can be tied into a ponytail. A ponytail with a hair flower can also be styled in a bun, and a ponytail with a rubber band can be used as a top clip. All of these are popular ways to use them.
J: Hair clips (generally made of flannel, with a hairnet, mostly movable, usually used to fix hair within the hairnet.)
