The working principle of KSD301 temperature controller
The KSD301 series of temperature controllers is a type of temperature controller that uses a bimetallic strip as the temperature-sensing component. When the electrical appliance is operating normally, the bimetallic strip is in a free state, and the contacts are in a closed/open state. When the temperature reaches the operating temperature, the bimetallic strip is heated and generates internal stress, causing it to act rapidly, opening/closing the contacts and cutting off/connecting the circuit, thereby achieving the temperature control effect. When the electrical appliance cools down to the reset temperature, the contacts automatically close/open, restoring the normal working state.

KSD301Precautions for Series Thermostats
(1)Grounding method: Connect the metal outer cover of the temperature controller to the grounding metal part of the equipment.
(2)When using contact temperature-sensing installation, the metal cover surface should be tightly attached to the installation surface of the controlled device. To ensure the temperature-sensing effect, thermal grease or other similar heat-conducting medium should be applied to the temperature-sensing surface.
(3)When installing, do not crush, loosen or deform the top of the cover surface to avoid affecting its performance.
(4)Do not allow liquid to seep into the interior of the temperature controller. Do not cause cracks in the casing. Do not change the shape of the external terminals at will.
(5)When the product is used in a circuit with a current not exceeding 5A, a copper core wire with a cross-sectional area of 0.5-1mm ² should be selected for connection. When used in circuits with a current not exceeding 10A, copper core wires with a cross-sectional area of 0.75- 1.5mm ² should be selected for connection.
(6)The product should be stored in a warehouse that is well-ventilated, clean, dry and free of corrosive gases, with a relative humidity of less than 90% and an ambient temperature below 40℃.
(7)Do not bend the terminal blocks during use; otherwise, it will affect the reliability of the electrical connection
