Product Name: 3D Stereoscopic Eyes

Item Number: 3D Stereoscopic Eyes

Packaging: Packaging bags

When watching 3D movies, viewers need to wear a pair of specially made glasses, which are a pair of polarizers with mutually perpendicular vibration transmission directions. In this way, the scene seen on the screen has a three-dimensional effect. If you don't wear this pair of glasses, the image on the screen will be blurry. Why is that?

This begins with the human eye observing objects. When a person observes an object with both eyes at the same time, it not only broadens the field of vision but also enables the person to judge the distance of the object and create a sense of three-dimensionality. This is because when both eyes observe an object simultaneously, the images formed on the retina are not exactly the same. The left eye sees more of the left side of the object, while the right eye sees more of the right side. After being integrated by the brain, these two images can distinguish the front and back as well as the distance of objects, thereby generating stereoscopic vision.

Stereoscopic films are made by simultaneously capturing images of scenes from two different directions with two lenses, just like the human eye, and then producing film negatives. During the screening, two sets of films captured by two cameras are projected synchronously through two projectors, causing the two slightly different images to overlap on the screen. At this point, if you look directly with your eyes, the picture you see will be blurry. To see a stereoscopic film, you need to install a polarizer in front of each film camera. Its function is equivalent to a polarizer. The light emitted from the two projectors becomes polarized light after passing through the polarizer.

The polarization directions of the polarizers in front of the two projectors on the left and right are perpendicular to each other, and thus the polarization directions of the two polarized light beams produced are also perpendicular to each other. These two beams of polarized light are projected onto the screen and then reflected to the audience. The direction of the polarized light does not change. When the audience watches with the above-mentioned polarized glasses, each eye only sees the corresponding polarized light image, that is, the left eye can only see the image reflected by the left camera, and the right eye can only see the image reflected by the right camera. In this way, a three-dimensional feeling will be produced just like direct viewing. This is the principle of 3D movies.

Of course, in actual projection of stereoscopic films, one lens is used, and two sets of images are alternately printed on the same film reel, which also requires a complex device. This is not covered here.

Technology models mainly refer to land, sea and air models. Science and technology model activities integrate science and competition, hands-on work and brainwork, and are deeply loved by a large number of teenagers. Their main function is also to cultivate and improve the comprehensive hands-on innovation skills and high quality of teenagers. Therefore, at the turn of the century. Under the new form of deepening reform and vigorously promoting quality-oriented education, actively carrying out science and technology model activities is an effective measure to comprehensively implement quality-oriented education.
Broaden your horizons and enrich your scientific knowledge
Science and technology model activities are rich in knowledge. Take nautical models for example: During the making and navigation of nautical models, students can learn why ships float, how ships maintain stability, why propellers generate power, how ships run fast, why the Titanic didn't sink immediately after being damaged and why it couldn't avoid icebergs... If one delves deeper, students will come into contact with radio-controlled transmitting and receiving machines. Understand (or master) force, density, gravity, pressure, magnetic field, the structure of ships, the structure and principle of engines, radio, the selection of materials... A lot of knowledge. Among them, there is a lot of knowledge that is not in the "textbooks" but is often needed in life. This further inspires students to think about what scientific and technological inspirations they have gained from animals. Can they boldly imagine and make a technological model? Some think of dragonflies and planes, fish-shaped ones associate torpedoes, and can make some simple aircraft models, etc. In this way, students will come into contact with and apply all kinds of knowledge in the science and technology model activities, supplement a lot of book knowledge, broaden their horizons, enrich their extracurricular life, and at the same time learn more scientific knowledge.
Second, cultivate logical thinking ability
The science and technology model activity requires all participants to have dialectical, holistic and strict scientific thinking methods." A sparrow may be small, but it has all the vital organs." The small technological models are large, real cars, ships and planes made in a certain scale. It is an integrated whole, and any slight change can affect the whole.
A model aircraft that remains idle during a competition must go through two stages: high-speed climbing and low-speed gliding. The adjustments during the climbing stage mainly involve the adjustment of the ground tension line and the Angle of attack after the two wings are twisted. Although the position of the center of gravity, the installation angles of the wings and the horizontal tail, and the rudder also have a certain impact on the aircraft's climbing attitude, the changes in these parts directly affect the performance of the model during the gliding stage. Therefore, in the design and adjustment, the different force conditions and solutions of these two stages must be comprehensively considered. For instance, in the design and production of car, ship and aircraft models, the selection of material strength, rigidity and weight is very careful, and the best solution must be chosen from the two. Therefore, in terms of thinking methods, science and technology model activities require teenagers to be dialectical, holistic and scientific. Otherwise, a small mistake can cause the performance of the science and technology model they make to deteriorate or even become unusable.
It can be seen that a person's initial thinking begins with actions. The thinking characteristics of students are mainly in the form of concrete image thinking. Thinking cannot be separated from images and actions. In operational activities, students not only need to look with their eyes and do with their hands, but also think with their brains and speak with their mouths. This organically combines the external operational process with the dialectical, holistic and scientific aspects in the internal intellectual activities, which effectively promotes the development of their thinking.
Third, cultivate good habits
Science and technology model activities are conducive to shaping students' good personalities, cultivating their strong willpower and pioneering spirit, as well as their meticulousness and patience, and fostering a scientific attitude of being rigorous in doing things.
1. Arrange time scientifically. Students need a certain amount of time and energy to deal with their schoolwork and the cultivation of various interests and specialties. They must arrange their time scientifically and reasonably to be well-organized and busy but not chaotic.
2. See things through from beginning to end. Nowadays, most students are only children. They are afraid of hardship and lack perseverance in doing things, often giving up halfway. If we choose activities that allow them to do things by themselves and think of ways to complete a science and technology model work, their interest will increase even more. Because they all love to play with dynamic toys, from this perspective, it will also help them gradually overcome the inertia in the making process and persevere To complete one's own masterpiece. This thus cultivated in them the habit of seeing things through from beginning to end.
3. Collectivist spirit. The students designed, made and competed together, helping, comparing and learning from each other in the process. This way, the students' sense of collectivism is cultivated. Enable students to have others in their hearts and learn how to get along with others. Only in this way can we create a great cause together with others under the socialist market economy conditions. The days when people like the Curies would shut their doors and boil asphalt are gone forever. Today's society needs the cooperation of a talent group like the Apollo moon landing program to transform the world and create the future.
Fourth, stimulate students' interest in exploring the field of science and technology
A scientist or inventor undoubtedly develops a strong interest in the things he loves, then explores and studies them, and eventually achieves fruitful results in that field. Nowadays, we make and assemble technological models for students, allowing them to understand the formation of power, the generation of buoyancy, the influence of magnetic fields, etc. This lays a solid foundation for their future research and exploration in this field and sows the seeds of success.
In conclusion, actively carrying out science and technology model activities is an effective measure for schools to comprehensively implement quality-oriented education, cultivate students' all-round development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor, and improve their comprehensive qualities as cross-century workers and successors. Actively carrying out science and technology model activities is an effective measure to implement the spirit of the "Several Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and The State Council on Strengthening Science Popularization Work" and the National fitness program, and to fully implement the "rejuvenating the Country through science and education" strategy proposed at the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
