4. After cutting the turf to the required size, place it at the site where the construction is to be carried out. Then apply the glue and make preparations before applying the glue
5. The bottom surface of the turf to be bonded must be cleaned thoroughly and kept dry without any moisture
6. It is advisable to carry out construction when the ambient temperature is above 5℃. Moreover, construction should not be conducted during rainy or plum rain weather, as this may lead to an excessively long bonding time or even non-bonding.
Specific construction process
(1) Gluing: It is required to apply the glue evenly on the back of the turf with a brush. Do not apply the glue repeatedly; otherwise, bubbles may occur and it may even fall off. Apply glue to the base fabric, strictly control the thickness of the glue, and pay attention to the appropriate speed of applying the glue. When applying the glue, it should be separately applied to the two bonding surfaces to be bonded.
(2) Bonding: According to the actual influence of conditions such as temperature, humidity and air pressure at that time, the drying time should be reasonably controlled. Generally, within 10 to 30 minutes after applying the adhesive, the adhesive slurry should be 80% to 90% dry and not sticky to the touch. When bonding, it is required to align and bond firmly at one time. It is strictly forbidden to move the bonded objects back after bonding.
(3) Pressurization: After the bonding is completed, remove any debris from the surface. Use a dedicated rubber mallet (or other tool) to forcefully hammer from the bonding area to both sides to ensure that the surfaces are fully in contact and compact, making the bonding more secure.
