Its takeoff is accomplished by being towed by a car. Ultimately, he helped the protagonists escape from France. This is what we call a towed glider. Modern gliders are mainly used in sports. They have long and narrow wings that are significantly different from ordinary aircraft, and their fuselages are slender and streamlined in shape. The most distinctive feature is that it has no power. It is usually taken off by aircraft, cars or winches and flies in the air by taking advantage of the updrafts.

In 1801, George Kelly of the United Kingdom trial-produced a glider in 1809. Kelly coachman became the first person to fly freely off the ground, flying about 500 meters. In 1914, the German Hass developed the first modern glider. It could not only glide horizontally but also climb high with the help of rising warm air currents, and its maneuverability was further improved. From then on, gliders entered the practical stage. During World War II, gliders were used to airdrop armed personnel and transport supplies. In the famous Normandy landing, a large number of gliders were used to drop Allied soldiers.
