Maintenance methods for silver jewelry

Silver has relatively active chemical properties, so it reacts with sulfur dioxide in the air to form black silver sulfide. When the surface of silver jewelry oxidizes and turns black, the following maintenance methods can be used to restore the beautiful luster of silver. You can add baking soda to clear water and then clean and wipe. 2. Use a silver polishing cloth or silver polishing paste to wipe. (It should be available in most jewelry stores. It should be particularly noted that the silver polishing cloth contains special liquid and cannot be washed with water.) Thai silver must never be washed with silver cleaning water. Only a silver polishing cloth, silver polishing powder or a polishing machine can be used to polish and remove scratches. Oxidation that turns yellow or black is a normal phenomenon. If it doesn't turn black, yellow or oxidize, it can only be stainless steel 3. Use a soft cloth dipped in toothpaste to scrub the jewelry, then rinse it clean with clear water and wipe it dry with a cotton cloth. (The tooth powder works quite well.) 4. Soak it in the silver cleaning water, then rinse it clean with clear water, wipe it dry with a cotton cloth, and keep it dry. However, it is recommended to use silver cleaning solution as little as possible. This is because silver cleaning solution is a chemical product that uses its own corrosiveness to clean silver jewelry. Long-term use can cause damage to silver jewelry. Finally, we would like to remind you that silver jewelry should be kept away from seawater, perfume, hot springs, etc. If it is not worn, it can be placed in a container that isolates air, such as a velvet bag or a jewelry box, to keep your silver jewelry looking as good as new! Four: Warm reminder: The pictures of gemstone products in the product details are sample pictures of bulk products. They were made from a random sample we took. The actual product is almost the same as the picture. Some are a bit lighter in color, while others are a bit darker. However, the quality is the same. They are all from the same hand, made of the same material and produced by the same process. Natural gemstones are hand-polished, and there may be slight differences in weight and specifications. Please do not pick and choose. Even if natural gemstones are carved from different parts of the same piece of material, they cannot be exactly the same. Unlike artificial plastics and artificially colored ones, they are not uniform and perfect. Therefore, there will inevitably be slight differences in color. However, we guarantee that the style, material, grade and value of the products we send out are exactly the same as those in the pictures! In addition, since natural gemstones are composed of polycrystals and have complex mineralization, the cotton-like patterns, veins, emeralds and variegated colors in natural gemstones are natural manifestations and serve as the basis for identifying authenticity. It is also a sign of the naturalness of natural gemstones. Please purchase with caution if you are a perfectionist!
